Ministerial Decree on concrete

Ministerial Decree 14/01/2008 upholds the provisions of Ministerial Decree 14/09/2005 ‘Technical Regulations for constructions’ which introduces mandatory certification of the factory production control for production plants of ‘concrete produced with industrialised process’ meaning the concrete produced with systems, structures and techniques organised at the building site and/or an external site.
Ministerial Decree 14/01/2008 sets forth the obligation to market structural type concrete produced under controlled process conditions, certified by an independent third party Entity, authorised by the Central Technical Service of the Higher Council for Public Works, operating consistently with standard UNI IEC EN ISO/IEC 17021:2006.
ICIM, Certification Entity authorised with letter registered under No. 205 of 07/12/2007, has developed a solid experience in the construction sector, with a supply chain approach both for voluntary system and statutory aspects, supporting important engineering firms, construction companies and companies working in extraction of raw materials (aggregates) and concrete production.
ICIM is also Certification Entity authorised with letter registered under No. 0425 for certification schemes of the control system of the aggregate production process (EU regulation No. 305/2011 system 2+, normative references UNI EN 12620).
To Producers possessing certification according to ISO 9001:2015, ICIM offers integrated audits of certification schemes, ISO 9001:2015 and DM14/01/2008, with the advantage of obtaining interesting technical and economic synergies.
